This is a problem with the handling of directories in windows 7 and probably in Vista. I made some changes but it seems that still fails. The error you give it to create the channel.bak or open it?

This error is to open it. I've installed windows 7.

How can I create channel.bak with MAZ? I only can save my files normal with all_channel.dat, antenna_list.dat und DVBS.dat

I'd like to use this excellent software to reserve my registrations on my usb HD, but I can't get it work since my HD has the following 2 partitions:

1) /usb1/sda1 (ntfs)
2) /usb1/sda2 (ext3)

When I reserve a registration from MAZ it only let me choose "usb1" as device, so when the registration starts it displays "Filesystem not supported" and stops there without saving anything...
I think it tries to write on the ntfs partition (/usb1/sda1)...so my question is: is there any workaround to make it write on /usb1/sda2 instead? (Of course if I reserve a program from the remote control I can choose usb1-2 (ext3) and so it works fine...

first of all thanks again, for your wonderful tool.
Without MaZ it is a mess to deal with the favorites.

Anyhow, there is always room for improvement.

I've following issue.
I've upgraded to the latest FW and recreated the favorite list.
As this FW isn't stable at all, I went back to 4890.
Now the saved channellist doesn't work and I've to do the task again.
I'm not sure, but if you would save the channellist as csv and transform it at the time, when it's uploaded to the box, you could take into account the FW version and format of the channel list.
This would also allow, to load the channel list into a spreedsheet program like Excel and create a printout of the favorites. (This will improve the waf, woman acceptance factor).

Is this something, you could think about?

The problem is that you changed the version of the channel list. Open the file All_channels.dat with a hex editor and change the first byte will 0A by 09.

Thanks, worked perfect.
I was now able to upload my favorites build on 5306 to a 4890 FW.

Anyhow, a possibility to make a printout of the favorites or to export them as CSV would be great.

Me podria decir porque al arrancar el MaZ 3.2 me sale el mensaje:

No se puede encontrar modulo especificado

Arranca posteriomente y no me descarga de kingOfSat, tampoco descarga las lista firmwares, plugins y novedades.

Que raro yo tengo el w7 y me va todo bien, tienes que darle a ejecutar como administrador y si no te funciona reinstálalo otra vez, y preséntate

Hoy me ocurre una cosa con MAZ_3.2 que no me ha ocurrido nunca, lo abro me conecto todo perfecto pero cuando voy a la parte de la derecha NOVEDADES y le doy actualizar listas me pone lo siguiente:
Access violation at address 00****c1 in module "Maz.exe" read of address 00000000 y se queda bloqueado
a que se puede dever esto. :unsure:

Gracias cyow, pero debes saber una cosa. Pienso que al firmware que conocemos como oficial le queda poco de vida, desde hace mucho tiempo, opensat solo ha sacado firmwares para arreglar los problemas de Youtube cuando hacian algun cambio en la pagina y me da que todos los esfuerzos de Opensat se centran en hacer un firmware nuevo, posiblemente Neutrino, que valga tanto para los Azbox nuevos como para los HD que tenemos.

Digo esto solo para que entiendas que, ante esta tesitura, no quiero dedicarle mas tiempo al MaZ. Quizas saque alguna revision mas con cosas que se que hay sencillas de reparar, pero no voy a ponerme ha hacer cosas nuevas de momento, en todo caso, si estoy equivocado y el firm va evolucionando, me lo replanteare.

No creo que estes equivocado, no tendremos muchos firms originales mas al tiempo me remito.

Pues nada que decir, solo que te quedo de lujos eres el mejor....voy a probar todo y te ire diciendo algunos detallitos q ya no puedes porque estas en E2, aunque yo tambien estuve alli, pero regrese por lo de los emuladores......te comento cualquier cosa amigo morser...
