Seems a great thing!
MC works a treat on stuff it couldn't chew properly, staying Audio-Visually synced, for instance, not crashing exiting, playing DVDs and so on...
What is missing in it is better navigating in DVD Menus. Choosing various options in those menus should be graphically much better!
=============================================
I hope this helps: the bugs I noticed at my end (Elite), so far...
1) Pingflood's keymap wasn't integrated, so I tried installing it, since GUIDE button wasn't used etc etc. But it won't take some ipk packages from "Install local..." - like Pingflood's keymap... (have you guys done something to disable the change of keymap, maybe?)
2) Having installed HD Glass 16 3.28 - the picons path won't "engage", unless the name of the folder is picon, without -s at the end {/media/usb/usr/share/enigma2/picon}
3) When restarting, a USB memory stick can easily be lost (Flash Expander r4 installed, of course, so all that is on it is gone, too...)
4) Sometimes several restarts are needed to get it all going again...
5) Recording path can't be "navigated" to somewhere else from the default and directed to our needs, it seems... but I haven't yet connected an external USB HDD...
6) USB memory stick is seen as HDD - it seems to me, as a lay person, that it should be reserved for an external USB HDD or...?
7) We are missing a proper "GP3 Wizard/Addon Manager", it seems to me... somewhere to get all the goodies from, straight into our machines... safer and better that way...
8) {When restarting, having installed Coolman's TV Guide 4 (or at least I thought I did) - stuck on 79%... scary...} After a reboot Cool TV Guide was nowhere to be found - I couldn't install Cool TV Guide - 3 more times I tried installing it and nothing, so I gave up on it...
9) CrossEPG data isn't "active/recognised" after restart. Nothing to see after a download and GUI restart, sadly... Force reload isn't working either... Restart GUI again (twice) - nada... I also noticed that - having chosen USB as a path to store EPG data (which isn't precise enough) - it's in at least 3 places, when you explore via FileZilla Client, and only in one there are enough data files. But all in all, it's not really working... I am now trying HDD as a place to store it, at a scheduled download (once a day). We'll see tomorrow, if there are good results...
In conclusion:
Isn't IPK Installer problem an old one, i.e. isn't this a recurring problem? If I remember correctly, we had this problem before?
We need a good EPG path Manager, Picon path Manager (not just via HD Glass skin) and SWAP Manager via Device Manager, I think.
Overall, it seems stable, some problems are sorted out, a step in the right direction, I would say...
However, I can hardly wait for SPAZE version, with its goodies...
