P.S. Please, don't forget the P.S. :D

"...the South-Slavic diacritics,as you can see above: šđčćž - is that OK or is it not allowed?"

We think that should work Ok

About epg.equiv, this file is for asign channels with the same EPG, for example:

Canal+ and Canal+ HD got the same programs at the same time, so Canal+ and Canal+ HD are equivalents and we can download EPG only one time for two or more equivalent channels.

About "info timer" I ask to the author because I don´t know exactly the function asigned to that phrase

1 more thing, guys...

In ScalingModes.po there is a mismatch, it seems (unrelated terms):

About... = 6 -> Relacion de aspecto 4:3

Please, advise...

Hi, guys. Can you answer my question above, please... In order to finish this I need the answer...

You know, where it appears we have a mismatch: About -> 6 -> Relacion de aspecto 4:3

==================================

Also, have a look at this, in spazeMenu.po:

For run another module or program, you need close first the current aplication, normaly pressing [EXIT]\n
Press [OK] button for view the remote control help and faqs.

In English this is quite incorrect...

"For run..." should be "To run..."

"...you need close first..." should be "...first you need to close..." or simply "...you must close..."

".... aplication..." -> application

"...normaly pressing..." -> should be "...normally by pressing..."

...for view... -> should be "...to view..."

Here is the correct version:

To run another module or program, you must close the current application, normally by pressing [EXIT]\n
Press [OK] button to view the Remote Control Help and FAQ.

---------------------------------

List changed. Save this changes? -> it should be "List changed. Save these changes?" or "List changed. Save the change?

---------------------------------

Error in Plugin or not exist -> should be: "Plugin error or Plugin doesn't exist"

---------------------------------

Is this correct, please:

Entry %s already exists.

But in Spanish original, if I remember correctly, it was [%s] and I kept it in Croato-Serbian translation:

Ova vrijednost [%s] već postoji u listi.

-----------------------------------------------------

There are also some other, minor issues that don't really matter {like Youtube (player) -> YouTube (Player), Ok -> OK, MENU, EXIT, HOME should all be in capitals etc.}...

If you like, I can point out to those as well. But I wanted just to draw your attention to the obvious and bigger, grammatical errors, which are not in spirit of the language etc.

=================================================

A question: \n breaks a line into two lines, right?

Well, if that is so: should I break all long translations into two lines by "\n", even if you didn't, guys?!?

Some of my translations are more descriptive, hence longer and I am thinking that it might be wise to break them in two lines...

Have a look in a few examples of my work:

Overwrite home menu key -> as

Promjeni funkciju dugmeta\n
Osnovni izornik na daljinskom kontroloru

or

Show audio/subtitles in main menu -> as

Prikaži opciju Audio/Podnapis\n
u Glavnom izborniku

or

Show record options in main menu -> as

Prikaži funkciju Snimanje\n
u Glavnom izborniku

or

Restart GUI to apply changes? -> as

Ponovno pokreni grafičko sučelje\n
da se primjene promjene

Agreed?

P.S. I translated HOME as Osnovni izbornik [basic menu]

and

MENU button as Glavni izbornik {Main menu].

@Gorski
I think we could talk about it for many hours...
We've not the plugin (or, at least, not the version which spaZe are using) which we're translating,
and we've not the screen in front of us, so, we can't decide what size of line is the best,
'cause we can't see the context, or where will be placed each line. (it can be an option, simply info, or screen title...)
I've translated to catalan ALL enigma2 from spaZe Quantum 1.0, (starting from english file)
and I've needed to make some re-edits to adapt texts to screen, in example:
I can translate and write "Select Main Option" or "Sel. Main Opt." depending where will be placed the sentence,
and if it will have some option to choose

in this case, I think the best manner is make translation in a new line under spanish one,
given originally by spaZe Team, but trying to be no longer this one
(deleting spanish sentence after finish edition, of course...)

Another possibility should be that spaZe Team could provide the same plugin(s) (in case of plugins, of course!!)
they are working with, and we could translate having the screens where sentences will appear

Thanx, Admin! :)

Indeed, pe.tardo. But at least we can ask questions and find the best solution together... ;)

Btw, I am simply trying to help in any way I can... B)

I agree. We shall definitely have to go back to "finishing touches" and add various corrections to our translations, once we see the plugins... ;)

Still, we should give the full feedback, I feel... :) Whatever we can, to help... B)

Shit! I just lost a lot of work... Various things I noticed... It all went nowhere, as the window in which I was reporting changed suddenly and I couldn't go back to it... Shit, shit, shit! Now, I must retrace all the mistakes and uncertainties, the questions I had in the previous file... Achhhhhhhhhhhhh..........:blink:

=============================================

Anyway, the last thing I noticed is the TIMESLEEP plugin...

For my sense of English, from what I see it does, shouldn't it be called/named/designated TIMESEEK or TIMESEEKER, guys?

It seeks various times in films etc. Doesn't it? So, TimeSeek!

Sleep would suggest it is dedicated to putting the machine to sleep, after recording or something like that...? No?

Seek would suggest exactly what it does - search/seek, would it not?

------------------------------------

Activate with left and right buttons in movieplayer (need restart): -> I am not sure I understand completely... What is meant by this, guys? Activate Time Seek function with < and > around the OK button in RCU?

In that case it should read something like: Activate timeseek functions with left and right buttons in movieplayer (restart needed):

That's it for now...;)

I must re-do it all, as pe.tardo suggested, once I see the finished products/plugins... ;)

Good luck with your work, coders!!!B)

In DeviceManager.po I found:

entry already exist -> it ought to read: exists

----------------

[SPZDeviceManager] %s1 not mounted, no unmount need... -> it ought to read: ...needed

----------------

Label Format
-> what is meant by this? I am not sure...

If it is to format a partition/device and also give a label/name the partition/device, then maybe it should read: Format device/partition and label as follows:

If it is just naming a partition/device, then maybe:

Label partition/device

----------------

You made some changes on /etc/auto.hotplug...\n
Restart autofs daemon? -

Not on, it should be in, that's all - a minor thing... ;)

-----------------

I hope I got most of it, from the one I lost...

Best of luck, guys!

===============

P.S. I already saw a few mistakes I made, so please allow me to correct them, before you publish... Thanx!!! :)
