[Ofw] Youtube Fix

This is YouTube FIX for Elite, Premium, Premium+ and Ultra which are running on Official Firmware from OpenSat (CELRUN).

All what You need if You are running on 0.9.5309 is to replace file youtube_player which is located in /MMP/usr/bin

First of all we need to make /MMP r/w , so let's go:

Connect by telnet to AZBox and execute this command:

mount -o remount,rw -t ext3 /dev/hda1 /MMP

Connect bz FTP to AZBox and enter in folder /MMP/usr/bin

Select file youtube_player and delete it. Now from Your PC transfer new file youtube_player, and once when it is transfered give it CHMOD 755 rights.

After this reboot receiver and You are ready to enjoy in YouTube on OFW.

Hola, sigo todos los pasos, pero al intentar borrar youtube_player (755), no hace nada, ni me permite cambiar atributos, ni renombrarlo, nada y por supuesto la transferencia del nuevo ni caso.
Que puedo hacer¿?

Le has dado correctamente los permisos de escritura a la carpeta /MMP?
Prueba a hacerlo con Filezilla, a veces estos programas se 'encabezonan'
y no dejan trastear.

Probado y funciona, pero el error era
mount -o remount,rw /dev/hda1 /MMP la "coma" remount,rw ponía un punto. El comando era correcto pero no hacía nada.

A mi me funciona con sólo cambiar el archivo que se descarga, el youtube_player. Saludos.

Pues yo he probado de cambiar eso y sigue sin funcionarme. Cuándo entro en Youtube se me queda "Cargando" y no salen los vídeos". Tengo último firm KGD. ¿Alguna solución?

yo tuve q hacerlo como Darkmantk telnet seguido de FTP y youtube funciona con 0.9.5309
pero al volver a TV tengo q hacer reboot sino los canales se quedan en gris y no se pueden seleccionar
