E2 image for AZbox HD: how to install SPAZE version "FIX"

Well, "flash" = DOM. But then, I added the USB stick to it, using the - Flash Expander...

Guys, am I reading the logs correctly: is CS (OSCam) working correctly while I am in Media Player?!? It seems as if it is "refusing connections"... Anybody to confirm this?

I tried DD Subtitle Player - it lacks, to my mind, a way of efficiently locking onto the correct part of a film that one gets into.

As it is, one must watch it from the beginning, otherwise there's little chance of making it work in sync...

Use this plugin for OSCam, like you would CCcam Info, to see your OSCam details on your TV screen, like a log, ecm info, clients, server etc.

Once you install the ipk package, as described above, configure it in MENU -> Plugins -> OSCam Info -> Setup:

Read userdata from oscam.conf - no

Port - 0098 (as in the config file above, from webif)

Username - from httpuser

Password - from httppass

Automatically update client - yes

Update intervals - 010

Green button to Save!

To my mind, at least in AZbox HD, it lacks playing subtitles from any folder (I get green screens when I attempt it).

Also, effective syncing with a film - at any moment, it should pick up the time played with the time in the subs file...

Otherwise, it looks good... If you prepare the subs before a film starts, so you can easily sync it...

Just to let you know that my SPAZE Fix got completely frozen on TV4 Sport (Canal Digital Sweden 1'W)...

A bug, maybe?

Don't know if somebody reported it already but here it is...

If one doesn't have the movie folder sorted out - once you press HOME -> Movie button, there's no way out. The EXIT button doesn't work, sadly...

Only reboot helps...

Thanx to Jumbotroll, this is the new, unstable version 1.20, build 5932, with all the files included, the tuxbox mips version for E2:

oscam module ges to usr/bin (-> CHMOD na 755)

Oscam_cam_sh goes to usr/script

config files go to etc/config or etc/tuxbox/config

It should start from CAMD Manager, at least in GIT 24.8.11.

Not for me in SPAZE Fix...

Anyone tested?

P.S. The drivers attached are for external readers...

A few more observations, if they can be helpful:

1) I could update CrossEPG and Cool TV Guide to the latest versions via ipk packages I found on the net.

2) I could not update EMC v. 1.01 to 2.02 the same way.

3) I updated the Media Centre to 0.3.2 but it still has audio lag (A-V sync problems) in some (see the attached image, please).

4) Flash Expander sometimes installs in such a way that it shows the full /usr folder in /media/usb/usr but sometimes it does not and in that case the /usr folder only consists of lib folder.

P.S. When downloading EPG from the satellite ($ly Italia) it gets stuck on "Reading titles"... I think I must give up those for XEPGDB...
