Thanx to eppie, re. Beta 1.0.1:

crossEpg is working !!
I installed cooltvguide 2.0.11 and it works perfect .
Webinterface ok.
And for now no freeze when zapping on hd_channels.

Prueba con esto:

i did this to setup CrossEPG:

Enigma2 installation (dreambox)

with a unix compatible editor edit the file /usr/bin/enigma2.sh and before the line

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libopen.so.0.0 /usr/bin/enigma2

add this line

/usr/crossepg/crossepg_epgmove.sh



After reboot i went to download manually, then i reboot again, and EPG fully working.

Two ways to install Cool TV plugin:

put file in /tmp/ folder

in telnet:

ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-cooltvguide_Coolman_V.0.11_all.ip k

and reboot

more easy put it in root with ftp

and then go(with remote control) to menu/setup/software management/install local extension/internal flash or in root hard disk select harddisk.

select the file and push the green button.

no need for telnet

As for CrossEPG:

i did this to setup CrossEPG:

Gracias mac, lo probare. Ya habia leido algo asi pero al venir instalado de serie el crossepg pense que debia de estar hecho porque de hecho, funcionar si que funciona, descarga los archivos y general base de datos pero no lo carga en el EPG de los canales.

EPG (CoolTV Guide + Quickbuttons)
Having finally managed to download epg data via crossepg I decided to have a play around and see if I could find a decent epg plugin. One I have found and installed is CoolTV Guide 2.2.0 by Coolman from a vuplus forum. This installed ok although it did come up with an error line. This gives graphical multi channel and single channel epg and using picons looks pretty decent. It has a link to IMDB though I have not got this to work yet, the same with searching the epg, though everything else seems to work fine.

Following this I was then trying to map the plugin to the Guide button which I wasn't having much luck with until I stumbled across another plugin called Multi Quickbutton. Again this installed ok but with the error line. The only issue with this plugin is that the one I have installed is in German and I can't see how to change the language. But saying that the button options are fairly obvious, ie colours, channel + -. The guide button I have found out is the VU+ R-Taste option which I have now mapped to the CoolTV Guide. So now I can launch an epg with one button press on the remote. Just thought I would let you guys know if you fancied playing around a bit.

I wasn't sure if I was allowed to link directly to another forum but both plugins were found on a vuplus support forum with a uk domain name. Threads are called:

CoolTV Guide 2.2.0 by Coolman
Multi QuickButton für VU+ Solo/Duo Version 2.7.2

The files I have used are:

enigma2-plugin-extensions-cooltvguide_Coolman_V2.2.0_all.ip k

Saludos, he instalado la versión 3.0.0 por telnet y me indica que se ha instalado correctamente, reinicio y no lo veo por plugins ni se como ejecutarlo y utilizarlo. En soft manager all packages plugin esta pero solo sale la opción de desinstalar, lo que me indica que esta instalado.Si alguien me puede indicar como verlo se lo agradeceria. Gracias

Me ocurre exactamente lo mismo, se q esta instalado, pero no se como arrancarlo ni donde buscarlo

Saludos, os aconsejo si usais la sifteam el plugin tspanel 1.4 que trae muchas utilidades compatibles, asi como instalar directamente epg. Esta en todo dreams plugins, para instalar copiar en tmp y ejecutar en telnet
ipkg install /tmp/ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-tspanel_1.4_mipsel.ipk
No lo he prodo en rti 12 pero supongo que funcionara.

Why Telnet? Why complicate? Simply use your remote, with ipk packages...

Put the package in /tmp directory via FTP program [say, FileZilla Client] and install plugin from /tmp directory using the remote...

Or put it into root directory [ " / "], in which case delete it via FTP, after the installation.
