AirPlayer iOS & Android streaming
AirPlayer is an Enigma2 Plugin which implements parts of Apple’s AirPlay protocol.
AirPlay enables you to send Pictures, Videos and Music wireless from your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to your Enigma2 based SetTop Box
With this Plugin you are able to send the Video from your YouTube App for example directly to your Box and play it on your big screen.
Pictures and Music on your device can also wirelessly be played on your Enigma2 based SetTop Box and its big screen
Even on Android devices you can use the AirPlayer Plugin with Apps like doubleTwist and AirSync installed on your device.
F: What is supported, what not?
A: Pictures, Audio-Streaming and DRM-free Videos are supported, Videos with DRM and AirPlay-Mirroring are not supported right now.
F: How can i create a LOG?
A: On Dreambox/VU/ET/CT please connect to your Box via telnet and type in
CODE, HTML o PHP Insertado:
init 4
enigma2 > /tmp/airplay_log.txt 2>&1
Now Enigma2 is starting in the console, execute the action you want to logg. Quit Enigma2 via the menu and afterwards copy the file
/tmp/airplay_log.txt via ftp from the Box.
On sh4 Boxes please connect to your Box via telnet and type in
CODE, HTML o PHP Insertado:
killall rcS
killall enigma2
enigma2 > /tmp/airplay_log.txt 2>&1
Now Enigma2 is starting in the console, execute the action you want to logg. Quit Enigma2 via the menu and afterwards copy the file
/tmp/airplay_log.txt via ftp from the Box.
F: For what is a Premium-Key needed?
A: A Premium-Key is only needed for Audio-Streaming from an iOS Device or iTunes to your Box. Every Box has 14 days to test this functionality. You will only need a Premium-Key after these 14 days.
F: How do i get a Premium-Key?
A: After a little donation of 5 Euro

- new local Proxy (Premium-Feature) Videos are cached localy, this improves playback and makes playback of m3u8-Streams possible.(MyVideo, ZDF, AirVideo etc)

After you upgraded to version 0.3.x every box will get two new weeks of demoaccess to all premium-features. So you can try out all new features
If you already have a Premium-Key you can of course continue tu use all existing Premium-features!
